Located in the heart of the Cronulla dining scene, The Pines is perched above the iconic North Cronulla beach and has views spanning the coastline.
The Pines is right opposite Dunningham Park in North Cronulla beach on the Kingsway in Perryman Place. It is in the site of the old Hogs Breath Café in Cronulla.
What if I need to change my reservation?
If you need to change or modify your online booking you can do this via our website online booking system. Alternatively, you can call us to change it directly.
Please do not request booking changes via our social media pages as these are not monitored daily.
Do you cater for large groups?
You can make a group reservation on our website for up to 16 guests. If you are having issues with availability or require further information please email functions@thepinescronulla.com.au. All group bookings of 9 or more adults are required to choose a group menu (view here). The group menu must be selected prior to the reservation date. One of our staff will contact you once the booking has been made.
A 10% service fee applies to all groups of 15 or more guests.
Do you have gluten free options?
Yes we do – please let us know when you arrive that you are requiring gluten free and our chef can advise the options available on that day. Our menu does change from time to time so it is always best to check with the restaurant on arrival.
Can I just come in for a drink or do I have to eat?
We are a fully licensed restaurant which means we are not open as a bar but as a dining experience.

How do I make a reservation?
For all dining experiences, we recommend making online reservations via the booking link on our website.
If your enquiry is for a party of more than 16 guests, please email functions@thepinescronulla.com.au – We will endeavour to respond as soon as possible. We will always respond within 24 hours, on weekdays.

Do you cater for kids?
Yes, we have a kids menu Aged 13 & Under. For LITTLE PINES our kid’s meals are all $25 with a Scoop of Ice Cream to finish. Our current kid’s menu includes Linguine, Tomato Sauce & Parmesan, Battered Fish & Chips, Crumbed Chicken Breast & Fries, Spaghetti Bolognese.

Yes, you can sign up via our website through our pop-up and you will start receiving news shortly.
Are you a Covid Safe restaurant?
Yes, we are a registered covid safe restaurant in NSW. We take this very seriously and keep a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant and across our staff.
If you have experienced any symptoms of Covid please refrain from coming to the restaurant for the safety and enjoyment of others.

The Pines team encompasses the collective global experience of General Manager Brian McCarthy & James Metcalfe, coming together to create something completely unique and truly special to the area.
Executive Chef James Metcalfe, whose illustrious career spans over 25 years working in both double hatted and Michelin star restaurants in Sydney and London, has created a menu that emulates the overall vision of the The Pines restaurant; fresh, seasonal and local, with a focus on showcasing the finest produce available from some of Australia’s most celebrated producers.
Are you BYO?
The Pines is a licensed restaurant and BYO is also available. Our wine list offers a wide variety of wines by the bottle and glass with an impressive wine cellar featuring New & Old World wines from some of Australia's most renowned producers. BYO is $8 per person and is available during all opening hours, excluding Friday and Saturday dinner. BYO is not available for special events.
